RememberTheFallen goes into space!
Well, not really, but we did go watch the Shuttle Endeavour lift off from Kennedy Space Center, and thanks to this great couple we were able to park right at the edge of the water and had front row seats for the big show.
We were driving around looking for a place to park when the gentleman you see in the picture motioned for us to pull into their driveway. Keep in mind that there was not a single parking place to be found for miles around and their house was right on the water in front of the launch area. I was shocked at the more than kind gesture, and he explained to me that it was the truck that got us our spot. Some really great people here. In all the hustle to get back on the road after I forgot to get their names, so please email me if you see this Chris@RememberTheFallen.com so that I can thank you properly.

Well, as you may have already guessed we are back in Florida now. We got here a few weeks ago, but arrived home to company from the Dominican Republic. Our company is now gone, and we can make our final update for the trip. We had to skip a lot of the plans at the end of our trip due to concerns with our vehicle after our problems in Vegas, but at least we made it to New York and back to Florida. Here are some of the pictures we never got a chance to post.
This blur is the North Carolina sign zipping past..... Can you tell we were kinda falling off there at the end of the trip?
Great NY City
Not so great NY City traffic...
The memorial we stopped at in Colorado
The ending mileage.... what in the world were we thinking?
Well, we had a great trip all and all, met some great people, and spread the word about not forgetting those that have paid the supreme price for our freedom.

It's been some time since we have made a new trip update, so let me bring you up to date. We left 29 Palms and headed into Las Vegas on the 22nd arriving early in the morning on the 23rd around. We were greeted in Vegas by the 110+ degree heat on the strip at 1am. We took the next day to head out to Hoover Dam , and to do some sightseeing. We also used this time to contact the folks over at Nellis Air Force Base to arrange a meeting with them the next day.
We were not supposed to meet with the people from Nellis till the next afternoon so we decided to get an early start the next day to go see The Valley of Fire State Park before heading to Nellis. While at Valley of Fire we had some problems with our vehicle and waited for the wrecker sent by On Star / GM in the 140 degree heat wondering what in the world we were thinking heading to a place named the Valley of Fire in the first place. We have to thank the people over at Towbin Hummer for taking great care of us and our vehicle.
Unfortunately, due to our vehicle problems, we were unable to meet with the men and women over at Nellis, but plan on seeing them on our next trip through. We then left Vegas and started our trip back to the east coast. We hit Colorado and made a stop at the Western Slope Vietnam War Memorial . We were then off to Illinois to meet up with Rob and his son, who have been following our trip, as we stopped in Rockford Illinois to see where I was born. We are now in New York, and are heading to Washington D.C. tomorrow to meet with two of the families of soldiers on our site. I will upload some pictures tonight, but will have more to upload in the next few days.
FLORIDA HERE WE COME!

Yesterday we met with the great people over at 29 Palms. We were greeted at the gate by PFC. Monica Erickson, who took us on our tour of the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms.
While visiting with the troops we handed out some of the magazines that Playboy had given to us during our visit with them the day before.
Over the course of our trip my son has been missing his PT (Physical Training) that he is supposed to be doing with his Staff SGT in Tampa. He got to make up for that in Twentynine Palms when PFC. Erickson ran him through their obstical course.
Even the Military Police grabed a quick picture with Kyle and the RTF Hummer H2.
We are now in Las Vegas and will have a new update in the next day or so. Thanks to PFC. Erickson for her time and for going the extra mile to make our visit a memorable one.

Well, we had a very exciting last day in the Los Angeles area today. We were invited over to Playboy Studio West in Santa Monica. While there we were lucky enough to get some pictures of Holly Madison, Pilar Lastra (Miss August 2004), and Marketa Janska (Miss July 2003) with our RTF Hummer. We would like to thank Rob Hilburger of Playboy for making this all possible, and Holly, Pilar, and Marketa for taking time from their busy schedules for the pictures.

We have been in LA for a few days now. The first we spent relaxing from the drive, and then yesterday we took some time to see the town and get a feel for whats going on. We are staying about 20 minutes from LA, and the weather has been great. When we hit Hollywood BLVD the reactions to the truck were great, people love the vehicle. We went to the Magic Castle, Graumans Chinese Theater, saw the Hollywood sign, and went to the Santa Monica Pier.
We were also honored to meet singer / song writer Shawn Hlookoff whos song Soldier we have on our Myspace page. Shawn was a really down to earth young man and we are sure you will be hearing and seeing more of him in the very near future!

Well, it's offical...we are on the road! Kyle and I left Florida at 9am on Thursday. The outpouring of support via the honks, thumbs ups, and cheers have been great!
We got into Houston late and ended up getting a room for the night. We got a decently early jump the next morning, but 90 miles west of Houston we got a call from Wade Williams from the hit Fox TV show Prison Break. He invited us to Dallas where they are currently filming the new episodes of the show. There was no way we were going to pass that up, so we keyed it into the Hummer Navigation and away we went.
I have to say that the job they did creating a prison from Panama was AMAZING! Mr. Williams showed us around the set, and took us behind the director to watch some filming. Once we were done with that it was back to the Hummer for some pictures!
So far the trip has been long, but fun. We look forward to being in LA Sunday, and then heading over to 29 Palms to meet the great men and women there.
