PIRELLI TIRES & PIRELLI FILMS

We are very happy to now have Pirelli Tires as a part of the RTF family! This week the Pirelli Tire Company helped us outfit our RTF Hummer H2 with brand new Scorpion ATR tires. I must say, I never knew how much tires could really affect a vehicle until we made the change.

With our old tires we were getting 9 MPG highway, and the Hummer had a very spongy feeling. Since we have moved to the new Scorpion ATRs we are now getting 12.5 MPG and its amazing how much different the vehicle handles. I can tell you without a doubt that I will feel much safer making the track across the US with these new tires leading the way.

One thing that I was shocked to learn, was that not only was Pirelli into making some serious tires, they are also into making some pretty hot short films! Their latest film stars the every so sexy Uma Thurman driving an equally sexy Lamborghini. I was amazed at how action packed a short film can be, and how drawn into them you can become in such a short time. You can view the film by clicking the picture below.

Pirelli also did a short film in 2006 with John Malkovich and Naomi Campbell, entitled The Call, that is also a very worthwhile watch! I can tell you we are looking forward to the next film that Pirelli sends rolling our way. Be sure to watch this film by clicking on its picture below.
