VERIZON WIRELESS

  Thanks to the great people over at Verizon Wireless we now have broadband internet access in our RTF Hummer for our trip across the US, and for all the events we attend in the future. This means that thanks to our partnerships with both them and Panasonic, we will now be able to add soldiers to our site from just about anywhere we travel.

 Verizon Wireless has invested more than $35 billion in the last seven years to increase the coverage and capacity of its national network and to add new services.  Verizon Wireless currently serves 60.7 million customers.

Their voice network reliability test results have consistently shown that the number of ineffective attempts for the Verizon Wireless national network, in major metropolitan centers and some remote areas, is lower than any other national carrier. The test results also indicate that voice calls that connect on the Verizon Wireless network are more likely to stay connected for the duration of the call. Read examples of their regional reliability studies.  Similarly, the data network reliability test results establish that Verizon Wireless has the nation's most reliable wireless data network, successfully setting up a higher percentage of data sessions, and successfully completing a higher percentage of tasks during those sessions.
